Use a supported file
Bills, recorded votes, court cases, executive orders, audited topics, and dated Morning Record editions are supported in the pilot.
One lightweight card. One dated fact. One cited supporting source. When the Vote File is corrected or updated, the embed follows automatically.
The publisher supplies only a Vote Files record identifier. Status, wording, date, source, and destination resolve again from the stored public record on every refresh.
Place the container where the card should appear, then load the Vote Files embed script once on the page. Load the official script directly from Vote Files; do not copy, proxy, or rewrite it.
<div data-votefiles-embed data-vf-src="https://votefiles.com/embed.php?type=eo&k=14388"></div>
<script async src="https://votefiles.com/js/embed.js?v=1.0"></script>Publisher CSP: if your site uses Content Security Policy, allow https://votefiles.com in both script-src and frame-src. The publisher page itself must use HTTPS.
Bills, recorded votes, court cases, executive orders, audited topics, and dated Morning Record editions are supported in the pilot.
The Vote Files mark, supporting-source link, record date, and full-file destination are permanent parts of the card.
Do not screenshot or rewrite the card. Each reload re-resolves the source-backed language; a successful cached response expires within five minutes.
Use exactly one supported query shape. Extra fields, duplicate fields, caller-written headlines, malformed dates, and records without dated evidence display a visible unavailable card and are never cached.

The iframe is sandboxed, sends no referrer, sets no Vote Files account cookie, contains no form, and runs no code. Publisher pages remain outside the Vote Files security boundary.
