  • State certification deadline: Nov 23, 2026 (third Monday after election); certified by the Secretary of State in the presence of the Governor and Attorney General.   • Recount request deadline: Automatic — no request needed; triggered when margin is <= 0.5% of votes cast for the top two candidates.
