Commonwealth 11/05/2004 Because under Code § 18.2-102 the crime of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle is committed upon the "use" of a vehicle without the owner's consent, regardless of whether initial possession of the vehicle was obtained by a trespassory taking, the Court of Appeals' judgment allowing defendant's conviction for this offense to stand is affirmed.
