Commonwealth 10/31/1997 The Court of Appeals of Virginia erred in upholding the trial court's ruling denying the appellant's motion for a continuance and allowing the Commonwealth to introduce the testimony of an expert concerning an extrapolation of blood profile frequency based upon analysis of a series of DNA profiles and reports, proffered the day before defendant's second trial. The conviction is annulled and the case remanded.
